PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an aluminum electrode foil for electrolytic capacitors, wherein the chlorine ions, etc. adhered to the etching foil of each electrolytic capacitor can be removed effectively and its electrostatic capacitance can be increased. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of an aluminum electrode foil for electrolytic capacitors, a cleaning process for cleaning an etching foil of each electrolytic capacitor by a cleaning liquid is performed, after an etching process for its aluminum foil and before an post-processing for forming a post-processing coating on the surface of its etching foil. This cleaning liquid has hydrogen-peroxide concentration at 0.2-0.5 wt.% and contains citric acid at 10.0-45.0 wt.% and/or tartaric acid at 15.0-50.0 wt.%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
