PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical lens barrel achieving space saving and also contrived in light quantity adjustment, an image forming optical system using the optical lens barrel, and an imaging apparatus forming an image by restraining the influence of transmittance and the deterioration of image quality. SOLUTION: In the optical lens barrel 10 in which an optical system forming an image with subject light is housed, the optical system is equipped with a cemented lens 302, and also an electrochromic element 40 held between two adjacent lens elements constituting the cemented lens 302 so as to be integrated with the cemented lens 302, and controlling the quantity of the transmitted light through the cemented lens 302 by the release of the application of voltage.
