PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel-shaped or tile-shaped architectural surface finishing material used as an exterior finishing material of a building by which glaze, color and luster like the ones of metallic coating of a car can be imparted to the surface comparatively easily, and an intended color can be freely imparted, as well as to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A surface of a panel-shaped or tile-shaped aluminum plate or aluminum alloy plate 2 is polished to obtain a mirror-like surface. Then polyurethane resin paint 3 or the like used to paint the car is applied in a dust-proof room, and is dried to obtain the tile-shaped architectural surface finishing material 1 with glaze and vivid color similar to those of the surface of the car.
