PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sound insulation equipment and a sound insulation system, which satisfy the requirement of a higher sound-insulation effect as in the case of the presence of a hospital in ambient surroundings, by solving the problem that an effective sound-insulation effect cannot be obtained on the ground that a sound insulation plate provided on the side of a road and the like has a uniform sound-insulation structure. SOLUTION: The sound insulation equipment comprises: the sound insulation plate 10 in which a sound absorbing material with mineralized wood chips contained in concrete is fixed to a supporting member; a flat speaker S which is built into the sound insulation plate 10 so as to generate a sound in the direction of a noise source N; a microphone M for detecting a noise (sound wave) from the direction of the noise source N; and an arithmetic control circuit portion C which computes the sound wave (noise waveform signal) from the microphone M, so as to output a suppression sound (suppression waveform sound) with a waveform, identical in amplitude to/opposite in phase to that of the computed sound wave, to the flat speaker M.
