PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character attribute managing system for a double-sided printer which is installed on the double-sided printer that performs double-sided printing on a recording medium, and which speeds up double-sided printing and facilitates management of character attributes by carrying out processing of the character attributes separately to front and rear surfaces of the recording medium. SOLUTION: The character attribute managing system is installed on the double-sided printer equipped with two thermal heads 1 and 2 for printing on the front and rear surfaces of the recording medium. Character attribute setting parts 10 and 11 are provided for the thermal heads 1 and 2, respectively, whereby processing of the character attributes for designating printing styles is carried out separately.
