PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for crushing a cell, the main body of which has a bottom part that can easily and certainly be reinforced and can certainly be prevented from being damaged by the vibration of a crushing member and which container can help carry out accurate analysis, is free from a risk of infecting an operator, simple-structured, strong, of excellent durability, suitable for mass-production, inexpensive, and is economical, and also to provide a method for preparing the same. SOLUTION: The container for crushing a cell is constituted of a roughly cylindrical container main body A made from a suitable synthetic resin equipped with a bottom part, a lid member B made from a suitable synthetic resin capable of covering an opening of the container main body A disposed on the upper part thereof, and at least a bottom-part reinforcement member 1 made from a suitable metal disposed in the bottom part of the container main body A in such a manner that damage to the bottom part of the container main body A caused by the vibration of the crushing member can be prevented by the bottom-part reinforcement member 1.
