SWIMSUIT AND PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A swimsuit comprising a stretch fabric having, fixed at at least an area of the surface thereof, not only particles with water absorbing gel adsorbed thereon in which a water absorbing gel resin is adsorbed on porous inorganic particles but also a binder resin. Accordingly, there is provided a swimsuit having hydrophilicity imparted to the fibrous surface of the stretch fabric. The water absorbing gel resin is adsorbed on the porous inorganic particles, so that even when wetted by water, the water absorbing gel resin induces no apparent swelling, thereby attaining avoidance of dimensional change and imparting of hydrophilicity. The area (1) having the particles with water absorbing gel adsorbed thereon fixed thereon becomes hydrophilic, thereby increasing the affinity with water and enhancing the water dripping property, so that as a whole, the frictional resistance with water is lowered.
