APPARATUS FOR CONNECTING POWER CORD IN STEAM CLEANER

A device for connecting a power cord of a steam cleaner is provided to handle or maintain the steam cleaner easily by separating a power cord from a body. A device for connecting a power cord for a steam cleaner comprises sockets(10,10'), a power cable(20), and connectors(30,30'). The sockets are installed at a body of the steam cleaner. The power cable has the power cord at one end. The connectors are located at the other end of the power cable and connected with the sockets. The connectors are connected with or separated from the sockets to connect the body with the power cord or short-circuit the body from the power cord electrically. The connectors are inserted to the sockets. At least one O-ring member is installed around the connector to prevent moisture infiltration when the socket and the connector is connected. Conductive protrudes are shaped as an arc. Conductive wires of the connectors are fitted to the conductive protrudes and being rotated for predetermined radius to be fixed.
