<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insufficient balance notification system and an insufficient balance notification method that can prevent the problem of noticing the insufficient balance when a user uses an IC card while maintaining a sense of security of a pay-as-you-go system. <P>SOLUTION: The insufficient balance notification system 100 comprises a read/write part 11 for reading/writing of an IC card 20 in which information of an electronic wallet is recorded, a prediction part 31 for predicting that the balance of the electronic wallet registered in the IC card 20 will become short when the electronic wallet is used next time when reading/writing is executed by the read/write part 11, a notification timing determination part 32 for determining the timing of notifying a terminal device 40 of the result of the prediction by the prediction part 31, and a notification part 12 for notifying the terminal device 40 of the result of the prediction according to the timing determined by the notification timing determination part 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
