<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress prolongation of defrosting time in a heat pump type water heater. <P>SOLUTION: During defrosting operation, defrosting of an evaporator 17 can be carried out by sending a delivered coolant of a compressor 14 into an accumulator 18 via a bypass passage 40 and an ejector 160, and sending a liquid coolant in the accumulator 18 into the evaporator 17 via an auxiliary pressure reducer 31. Since the delivered coolant of the compressor 14 is detoured around a water-coolant heat exchanger 15, there is no need to carry out temperature control of a delivered coolant temperature of the compressor 14. By this, since the delivered coolant temperature of the compressor 14 can be raised, a coolant temperature sent into the evaporator 17 can be raised. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
