<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer stably having good developing property to a non-image area and less liable to damage an image area in development of a photopolymerizable photosensitive lithographic printing plate material, and capable of giving a lithographic printing plate having high image strength, excellent in printing durability and free of soiling of a plate surface by sludge accumulated in a developing tank, and a plate making method using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The developer for photosensitive lithographic printing plate materials is used when a photosensitive lithographic printing plate material having on a support a photosensitive layer containing at least (A) a polymerization initiator, (B) a spectral sensitizer, (C) a polymerizable compound containing an ethylenically unsaturated bond and (D) a polymer binder is developed after image exposure, and the developer is an alkaline aqueous solution containing at least a nonionic surfactant represented by formula (1) and an inorganic alkali agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
