<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotational speed detector for generators that is capable of detecting the rotational speed of a generator, rather than from a mechanical aspect of the rotation of an armature coil but from the electrical aspect of the output waveform outputted from the generator. <P>SOLUTION: The rotational speed detector 10 for generators includes a control unit 11, a direct-current component filter circuit 12, a high-frequency component filter circuit 13, a ripple component amplifier circuit 14, a voltage detection unit 15, a ripple component frequency detection unit 16, a storage unit 17, and an electricity generated estimating unit 18. A direct-current component in the output waveform outputted from a generator is removed by the direct-current component filter circuit 12, and high-frequency noise, contained in the output waveform, is removed by the high-frequency component filter circuit 13. A ripple component contained in the output waveform is amplified by the ripple component amplifier circuit 14 to shape the output waveform. The voltage of the shaped output waveform (output waveform with the ripple component enhanced) is detected at the voltage detection unit 15, and the frequency of the ripple component is detected at the ripple component frequency detection unit 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
