PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution which immediately and accurately judges whether an ink cartridge is mounted at an appropriate position of an apparatus main body in the constitution executing communication with a printer main body by radio electric wave. SOLUTION: The mounting position of an individual ink cartridge is detected by a logic constitution accompanied with a connection of electrode wiring (110 and 111) of an IC module equipped with the ink cartridge with a connecting member provided in an ink cartridge holder, and it is informed to the printer main body by a radio communicating means. A controlling circuit of the printer main body can immediately and accurately judge the mounting position of the individual ink cartridge and its right and wrong from radio information received when it is mounted.
