PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel for information display having satisfactory balance of an information display area and high degree of freedom for setting (notice). SOLUTION: In the panel for information display wherein a display medium is encapsulated between two substrates at least one of which is transparent, voltage is applied between electrodes provided on the respective substrates and the display medium is moved by applying an electric field to the display medium to display information such as an image, respective draw-out lines of display side electrodes and rear side electrodes in a display area of the panel are disposed on both right and left or upper and lower sides of the panel. Preferably, the display side electrodes and the rear side electrodes comprise orthogonally disposed line electrodes and only draw-out lines of electrodes of one substrate are drawn out in the direction opposite to the draw-out lines of electrodes of the other substrate by 180°.
