PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-capturing member capable of preventing generation of bubbles between the water-capturing layer and a substrate. SOLUTION: The water-capturing member 1 includes a water-capturing agent layer 2 and an adhesive layer 3. The capturing agent layer 2 is a porous member absorbing moisture. The adhesive layer 3 is a layer of an adhesive which adheres the capturing agent layer 2 to a substrate, and two or more holes 4 are formed in the adhesive layer 3. Each hole 4 serves as a space for causing air to leak outside from between the layer 2 of the water-capturing agent layer 2 and the substrate when the adhesive layer 3 adheres the capturing agent agent layer 2 to the substrate. The holes 4 penetrate the adhesive layer 3. Even when the water-capturing member 1 entrains air between it and the substrate on adhering to the substrate, the adhesive layer 3 causes the air to leak outside from the hole 4 through the capturing agent layer 2.
