PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately confirm the accuracy of fitting a lens to a lens holder in a lens holder fitting device. SOLUTION: This lens holder fitting accuracy confirmation system includes: a marking step of previously putting a mark in a reference position, which is a convex lens surface 1A of a reference lens 1 and which is expected to fit the lens holder 12; a fitting step of fitting the lens holder to the convex lens surface of the reference lens using a lens holder fitting device; and a comparison step of comparing the actual fitting position of the lens holder with the reference position of putting the mark on the reference lens. The lens holder 12 is provided with a hole 28 to observe the position of the mark when it is fitted to the reference lens. In the comparison step, a tool microscope 31 is used to observe the mark from the convex lens surface of the reference lens through the hole of the lens holder, and the actual fitting position of the lens holder is compared with the reference position of the reference lens to confirm the fitting accuracy of the lens holder.
