PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for highly accurately detecting a crop row able to not only detect displacement of the crop row to a farm working machine such as a root-vegetable harvester, a weeder or the like, but suppress influence of vibration and deviation of the farm working machine to contact arms by improving followability to the crop row and, in addition, prevent the contact arms from being broken caused by sticking the arms into a ridge when the farm working machine is driven in reverse, and provide a device for following up the crop rows and the farm working machine. SOLUTION: The device for detecting the crop row comprises a vertical motion support member 4 supported by a vertically parallel link mechanism 41 to the working machine 3 to be freely and vertically movable, a rocking frame 5 pivotted on the lower end of the vertical motion support member 4, a fixing bracket 61, a laterally parallel link 6 comprising rotary pendant brackets 62 and a rocking bracket 63, a pair of contact arms 7, 7 fixed to each end of the rotary and pendant bracket and a lateral deviation sensor 8 for detecting the deviation of the contact arms 7, 7 in the lateral direction.
