<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary shaft holding structure and a motor-driven supercharger including this structure, capable of reducing the shaft length and weight of a rotary shaft. <P>SOLUTION: In this rotary shaft holding structure, the rotary shaft holding structure in the motor-driven supercharger has a shaft 310, a rotor 320 fixed to the shaft 310, and a spacer 330 arranged in both end parts in the axial direction of the rotor 320. Here, a sliding surface rotatably slidable with a floating bearing 340 is formed on an end surface in the axial direction of the spacer 330.
