<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplification apparatus capable of preventing the occurrence of synchronization displacement between a video signal outputted from a display device and an audio signal outputted from a speaker without being integrated into the display device and an AV amplifier, hardware and software for transmitting and receiving processing time information via a control signal line connecting the display device and the AV amplifier. <P>SOLUTION: The amplification apparatus comprises: a test audio generating means for generating a test audio signal; an output means for simultaneously outputting test audio signals generated by the test audio generating means to the display device and the speaker; a sound collecting means for collecting test audio signals outputted from the display device and the speaker; a detection means for detecting a differential time from the collected test audio signals; and a delay means for delaying an audio signal outputted to the speaker based on the detected differential time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
