<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preventing/treating agent and a food for rough skin that are safe and can be administered/ingested for long terms by utilizing Tricholoma matsutake. <P>SOLUTION: The preventing/treating agent and the food for rough skin comprises any one of a mycelium, a cultured product (broth) or a fruit body (including a spore) of Tricholoma matsutake, particularly a Tricholoma matsutake FERM BP-7304 strain, as it is, or a dried product thereof, or an extract thereof (for example, a hot-water extract, an alkaline-solution extract, or an organic solvent extract of the hot-water extract/the alkaline-solution extract).
