<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility and a design property of a wire by a simple device configuration. <P>SOLUTION: This coloring device 1 used for forming a strip-like design pattern 6 on the outside surface 3a of a wire 3 by attaching a liquid coloring material to the outside surface 3a includes: a coloring means 13 jetting the coloring material toward the outside surface 3a of the wire 3; a reciprocative movement means 18 reciprocatively and circularly moving a tip part of the coloring means 13 jetting the coloring material such that the coloring material is coated over the respective all circumferences of a plurality of colored regions 3b of the outside surface 3a corresponding to the design pattern 6 and crosses the longitudinal direction A of the wire 3; a movement means 14 moving any of the coloring means 13, the reciprocative movement means 18 and the wire 3 in the longitudinal direction A of the wire 3; and a coloring control means 21a controlling the jetting of the coloring material by the coloring means 13 and the reciprocative movement of the coloring means 13 when the coloring means 13 is moved to a position for coating the coloring material on the colored regions 3b by the movement means 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
