<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripping implement which is applicable even when it is formed of a hard material, which can be easily fitted on the outer surface of a shaft tube of a writing utensil and also can be surely fixed to the writing utensil and which is inexpensive, and provided with the gripping implement and has a high gripping performance in writing. <P>SOLUTION: The gripping implement is fittable on the outer surface of the shaft tube of the writing utensil 8 and provided for gripping in writing. The gripping implement is composed of two members divided in the radial direction from each other and these two members are combined together by a plurality of fitting parts 5. The gripping implement consists of a resin molded product having the fitting parts 5 molded integrally.
