PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for manufacturing a compound lens in which the optical axis alignment is performed with a more simple structure. SOLUTION: The compound lens manufacturing apparatus 1 includes a lens holding part 7 for holding a base lens, and a lifting part 6 for lifting up/down the lens holding part 7. A metal mold 5 for molding a resin lens is arranged under the lens holding part 7. A vibrator 4 for vibrating the metal mold 5 is arranged between a table 2 and the metal mold 5. An absorber 3 for gradually enhancing a force of pressurizing the base lens placed on the metal mold 5 by the lens holding part 7 is arranged in the lifting part 6. A series of operations of the compound lens manufacturing apparatus 1 including respective operations of the lifting part 6, the absorber 3 and the vibrator 4 are controlled by a control part 8.
