PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gasket for electromagnetic wave shield which can control the deformed shape of a core material and is superior in shielding effect. SOLUTION: A gasket 23 for electromagnetic wave shield has an elastic core material 24 formed of a foamed material, and a conductive envelop 25 coating the core material 24. The core material 24 comprises elastic deformation layers 28, 29 that are mutually laminated, and adjacent two elastic deformation layers 28, 29 of the elastic deformation layers 28, 29 are different in the elasticity modulus.
