PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket for fixing a hose end fitting, and a method of forming the bracket for positively fixing a hose and holding fastening torque when connecting pipes, and reducing the number of parts and an assembling and machining cost. SOLUTION: The bracket 11 is formed with a hexagonal recess 12 for a rotation stopper R, and a holding hole 13 for a holding part H to fix the hose end fitting K having the hexagonal rotation stopper R and the positioning holding part H, and the hexagonal recess 12 is provided with a deepest part at each vertex 12a of a hexagon. In the method of forming the bracket, the back side 14 of the recess 12 is brought close to the vertexes 12a of the hexagon and sheared in circular shape, and the forming depth 15 of each vertex 12a is made larger than the forming depth 16 of the center part of each side 12b. The number of parts and assembling-machining cost of the bracket are thereby reduced, the hose can be positively fixed regardless of the direction of a hose fixing plate spring, rotational torque can be positively held in connecting a hose and piping with a screw, and the forming depth at each vertex of the hexagon can be secured.
