PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network facsimile which usually utilizes at the next communication the previously stored party's apparatus communication capacity acquired in previous communications, and does not cause the communication error even when the stored party's apparatus capacity is different from the communication capacity at the redirected side. SOLUTION: The facsimile previously stores the party's apparatus communication capacity information acquired in previous communications in a party's apparatus capacity storing means 25; usually sends at the next transmission utilizing the party's apparatus communication capacity information stored in the storing means 25; but, when an SIP server 10 returns a redirect response at transmission, exchanges the communication capacity anew with a party's apparatus shown by the redirect response to transmit, based on the communication capacity taken by the exchange, or to transmit at default settings (standard) without exchanging the communication capacity.
