A broadcasting receiver, a method for managing contents, and a signal structure are provided to protect the copyright of broadcasting contents transmitted through a broadcasting network or a telecommunication network. At least authority is set with respect to mobile broadcasting contents to be transmitted. The information about the authority of the mobile broadcasting contents is transmitted. The authority information includes at least one of recording information, reproduction information, and copy information. The recording information includes at least one of reservation recording information, instantaneous recording information, and time shift information. The reproduction information includes at least one of normal reproduction information and trick reproduction information.
