CONVERSION SYSTEM FOR BYPASSING A CALL AND METHOD THEREOF

A conversion system for bypassing a call and a method thereof are provided to prevent call loss or service stop in advance and to improve access rate. A conversion system for bypassing a call includes at least one commercial AS(Application Server)(130), at least one backup AS(140) and a SG(Signalling Gateway)(120). The SG transmits a call received from a STP(Signal Transfer Point)(110) to the backup AS by checking the state of the corresponding backup AS if all ASP(Application Service Process) in the commercial AS are disabled. If a backup mode of the backup AS is off, a TFP(Transfer-Prohibited) message of a signal point of the commercial AS is transmitted to the STP.
