A plasma display apparatus and a circuit for driving a plasma display panel are provided to enhance reliability of a scan IC by inserting a filter circuit comprising a capacitor and a resistor, which are connected in series with each other, between a power potential and a ground potential. A plasma display apparatus includes an IC(Integrated Circuit)(10), a ceramic condenser(52), and a resistor(53). The IC is operated by a voltage, in which a power potential and a ground potential is more than 50V. The ceramic condenser is connected between the power potential and ground potential. The resistor is connected to the ceramic condenser in series between the power and ground potential.
