<p>The furniture unit has a compartment with a supporting panel (4) to receive multimedia equipment (5), movable between retracted and deployed operating positions, and a cover (3). The cover can be moved between a position in which it closes the top of the compartment and a deployed position where it acts as a desk top on the same level as the multimedia equipment. The supporting panel is raised and lowered by a motorised drum and cable mechanism and a system of pulleys.</p> |
