Signalling method comprising an operation of converting a message coming from a calling terminal

The method involves receiving a communication request e.g. session initiation protocol (SIP) request, from a calling terminal (2) by a telecommunication proxy server (4). The request is analyzed to detect whether the request comprises a data message e.g. text message, in a format non restitutable by a called terminal (3). The message is converted into a restitutable format when the message is in the non restitutable format, where the message in the non restitutable format is stored in a data base (5). The converted message e.g. vocal message, is transmitted to the terminal (3). An independent claim is also included for a computer program product comprising instructions for implementing a call indicating method.
