A dryer is provided to prevent overheat of a drum by forming an inlet hole at an intake pipe such that the high temperature air passed through a heater is mixed with outdoor air and supplied into the drum. A dryer includes a cabinet(50), a drum(60), a support panel(62), an intake pipe(70), a heater(74), and an inlet hole(110). The cabinet has one side with an opening where a door is mounted. The cabinet has an inlet port and an outlet port. The drum is arranged in the cabinet such that the drum receives laundry and is rotatable. The support panel is mounted on an inner wall of the cabinet, and has a through hole. The drum is connected to the support panel. The intake pipe is extended into the cabinet from the through hole. The heater is arranged at one side of the intake pipe and disposed outside the cabinet, and heats air supplied into the drum. The inlet hole is formed at the intake pipe so as to suck air from the outside of the cabinet.
