A multi-port memory device, multi-processor system including the same, and a method for transmitting data in the multi-processor system are provided to remove the necessity to performing an automatic refresh operation for a shared memory region, used for data transmission between processor chips by making the shared memory region include SRAM circuit configuration, so that loss of the data transmission caused during the auto refresh operation of a multi-port DRAM can be prevented and the data transmission can be easily performed. A first dedicated memory region(232) can be accessed only by a first processor(210). A second dedicated memory region(234) can be accessed only by a second processor(220). A shared memory region(236) can be accessed by both of the first and second processors. The shared memory region includes circuit configuration for an SRAM(Static Random Access Memory), and the first dedicated memory region includes circuit configuration for a DRAM(Dynamic RAM). The second dedicated memory region includes circuit configuration for the DRAM. |
