The assembly (10) has a case (11) that is mounted in an upper part of a motorcycle and forms a support for an air filter (12). The filter has an overall annular shape and divides the case into an inner radial chamber (C1) and an outer radial chamber (C2), when the filter is placed inside the case. The chamber (C1) is situated radially inside the filter and the chamber (C2) is situated radially outside the filter. The chamber (C1) is supplied with air through an air inlet module (13). The chamber (C2) forms an air flow stabilization chamber around the filter.
