A protective film for a polarizing plate, the polarizing plate, and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device are provided to improve a display quality of the LCD device for a long time by forming a layer with polymer containing repetition units, which are induced from a vinyl monomer containing chlorine. A protective film(1) for a polarizing plate includes a transparent base film(2) and a coating layer(3). The coating layer includes polymer containing repetition units, which are induced from a vinyl monomer containing chlorine. An internal scattering property or a surface scattering property is applied on a hard coat layer. The hard coat layer is formed on the coating layer. A low refractive layer is formed on the hard coat layer, such that a surface reflective ratio of the protective film is decreased. The polarizing plate includes the protective films and a polarizer.
