An apparatus and a method for adjusting a reserved record time according to a change in EPG(Electronic Program Guide) are provided to allow a user to perform reservation recording only on desired broadcast contents at an accurate time without storing additional contents. A DTV(Digital Television) tuner(200) receives a digital broadcast signal in transport stream format at a selected channel. A demodulator(210) demodulates the transport stream from the DTV tuner(200). A transport demultiplexer(220) demultiplexes the demodulated transport stream into a video bit stream, an audio bit steam, and PSIP(Program and System Information Protocol) data. A decoder(230) decodes each demultiplexed signal to output video and audio signals. A controller(260) adjusts pre-set reserved record time according to a change in EPG included in the PSIP data and outputs an image signal storage command. A storage unit(270) stores a video signal received through the DTV tuner(200) at the adjusted reserved record time according to the image signal storage command. |
