The invention relates to a composition containing fragrance or perfume containing particular polysaccharide derivatives and branched polyglycerol-modified silicone. In particular, it provides an aqueous composition comprising:
(a) a fragrance material or a perfume,
(b) a particular polysaccharide derivative,
(c) a branched polyglycerol-modified silicone
(d) one or more surfactants. This composition containing fragrance or perfumecan be incorporated into detergent or cleaning formulations such as laundry detergents, fabric softeners, soaps, personal care products, such as shampoos, body washes and the like, as well as numerous other products, to enhance fragrance or perfume performance. The composition containing fragrance or perfume provides controlled release from the substrate where it has been deposited over an extended period of time.
