A light emitting device and a display device are provided to ensure operation stability and increase a lifespan of the light emitting device by forming a water-cooling unit on an upper surface of a substrate including a fluorescent layer and an anode electrode, thereby maximizing cooling efficiency of the light emitting unit. A first substrate(12) and a second substrate(14) are disposed to face each other, and form a vacuum container. An electron emitting unit(18) is provided at the first substrate. A light emitting unit is provided at the second substrate and emits light by electrons emitted from the electron emitting unit. A water cooling unit(21) includes a cooling pipe through which a liquid flows at an outer surface of the second substrate, and cools heat generated from the light emitting unit. |
