摘要 A method for controlling a single-phase BLDC motor for a high speed rotation is provided to improve a phase current waveform by performing a duty ratio control of each section and a lead angle at the same time. A method for controlling a single-phase BLDC motor for a high speed rotation includes the steps of: configuring a position detection unit to determine a position of a rotor and a rotation speed of a motor; driving the motor by applying a start voltage on a proper phase by a signal of the position detection unit; dividing the control section into 12-sections according to the calculated motor speed if the speed of the motor reaches a predetermined speed; dividing a first section, a second section, a seventh section, and an eighth section having a hole sensor signal period of 5% and dividing the others having the hole sensor signal period of 10%; and improving a phase current peak waveform by applying a different duty ratio to 12-divided sections.
