A vacuum cleaner having a noise reducing device whose installation position is changeable between air path members is provided to install the noise absorbing device to the point where noise is loud on air paths selectively. A vacuum cleaner having a noise reducing device(50) whose installation position is changeable between air path members comprises a cleaner main body, a brush assembly, air path members, and the noise reducing device. The brush assembly sucks air containing pollutants by sweeping the floor. The air path members are mounted between the main body and the brush assembly. The noise reducing device has a main body(51), a first cover member(53), a noise absorbing member(52), and a locking unit(55). The main body is a pipe having a plurality of holes formed around the outer peripheral surface. The first cover member surrounds the outer peripheral surface of the main body. The noise absorbing member is installed between the main body and the first cover member. The locking member connects the main body with the air path members detachably.
