PRESENT POSITION INFORMATION GUIDE METHOD IN NAVIGATION

A navigation method for guiding current position information and route non-mounting information are provided to enhance driver convenience by performing an automatic research when a delay to enter a searched route is generated and an automatic guidance when a vehicle is not mounted on the searched route. The number of off-tracks are determined while guiding a searched route(S1-S3). When the number of off-tracks are more than predetermined numbers, current position information data is generated. Then, the current position information is inputted to audio guidance data through a user input unit(S4,S5). When the number of off-tracks are less than predetermined numbers, a normal route guidance is performed(S6).
