A navigation method for displaying a specific position and various kinds of information is provided to enhance user convenience by guiding the various kinds of information such as direction, traveling distance and traveling time between a current vehicle and the specific position in a scroll operation. A map movement is executed in a scroll operation and whether a specific position is reached is determined(S1-S3). When the specific position is reached, a real road type is displayed. A direction, a traveling distance, and a traveling time between a current position of a vehicle and the specific position are displayed on a display unit(S4,S5). The current position of a vehicle, a direction of the specific position, and a distance to the specific position are represented by using an arrow mark.
