DAMAGE DETECTING APPARATUS OF WIRE ROPE

A device for detecting defects of a wire rope is provided to improve installation and service efficiency thereof and to increase detecting performance by sensing defects of plural wire ropes with one device. A device for detecting a defect of a wire rope(100) comprises a case(102), a body(110), a front cover(120), a block(130), a block guide(140), a sensor holder(150), a pair of magnets(M), and a plurality of magnet holders(160). The body is inserted into the case to guide a moving direction of the wire rope. The front cover is combined with one side of the body to prevent exposure of a sensor(S) and the magnet. The block is combined with an upper part of the body to keep and support plural components. The block guide is combined with the block and the body to fix the block to the body. The sensor holder is installed inside the block and has the sensor inside. The pair of magnets is attached apart on the plural magnet holders made of a metallic material and supporting the magnet. The poles of the pair of magnets are faced to the same direction. The magnets with different poles are attached to adjacent magnet holders.
