A structure and a method for mounting a safety net in a building are provided to construct the safety net securely and easily by mounting the safety net to a steel wire and bearing the steel wire with a support frame. Upper and lower steel wires(3,5) are combined with an upper part of a support frame(1), and protruded and fastened on an outer wall(7) of a building. A safety net(9) is mounted to the upper steel wire arranged over the support frame, and the upper steel wire is arranged at 90 degrees or below to a horizontal plane. An end(15) is connected to the support frame, and inclined upward. Auxiliary wires are mounted horizontally at upper and lower ends of the upper steel wire, and the safety net is supported by the upper steel wire and the auxiliary wires. The installation angle of the support frame is controlled by regulating the upper and lower steel wires, and the safety net is deployed horizontally by the auxiliary wires.
