<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing for reducing a risk of damaging a cage segment by properly rolling rollers. <P>SOLUTION: This roller bearing has an outer ring, an inner ring, a plurality of rollers arranged between the outer ring and the inner ring, a plurality of columns 14a and 14b extending in the axial direction so as to form a pocket 13 holding the rollers, and connecting parts 15a and 15b extending in the peripheral direction so as to connect the plurality of these columns 14a and 14b, and has a plurality of cage segments 11a successively continuously arranged in the peripheral direction between the outer ring and the inner ring. The columns 14a are positioned at an end in the peripheral direction of the cage segments 11a. Here, an outside end 21a in the peripheral direction of the column 14a positioned at the end is flat.
