<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device for testing easily for every line even during charging of busbar, by fixing an insulator and a grounding switch mechanism unit and making the operation device side free, without separating the jointing mechanism of a two-line insulator and a grounding switch. <P>SOLUTION: In an insulator and a grounding switch operating device arranged in a gas-insulated switchgear, a slide lever 30 is provided at right angles with the operation shaft 29 of the insulator and the grounding switch, and in a normal state, an operation shaft 29 and the slide lever 30 are engaged with each other at an fixing groove 38 and move simultaneously in its structure. By moving the slide lever 30 to the left-hand side, the operation shaft 29 is arranged to a recess trench 37 of the slide lever 30; and thereby the engagement is released and the operation shaft 29 and the slide lever 30 are separated so that the operation device can be operated, even if the operation shaft 29 is at a fixed position.
