PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving the dewatering efficiency of a gas hydrate in gas hydrate manufacturing equipment, and provide its equipment. SOLUTION: The equipment is installed with and composed of a supply port 8 that introduces gas hydrate slurry s to the lower part of a cylindrical main body 1 of dewatering equipment A, a dewatering section 2 in which the cylindrical main body 1 is formed into a porous wall 4, and a screw feeder 10 in the upper part of this cylindrical main body 1 for transferring a gas hydrate semi-dried body h dewatered in the dewatering section 2. On the outside of this dewatering section 2, a drainage tank chamber 5 is formed in a closed condition, and the interval between this drainage tank chamber 5 and the pipeline 32 of a gas circulating blower 31 of a finishing apparatus 27 is communicated by a communicating pipe 7.
