PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device capable of suppressing a leak current. SOLUTION: The organic EL device A1 is provided with an anode electrode 2 and a cathode electrode 7 which are arranged oppositely each other, and a light-emitting element 5 provided between the anode electrode 2 and the cathode electrode 7 and made of an organic substance.
