PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump capable of stably feeding a liquid without stopping the operation of the pump even when a flow sensor is determined to be defective. SOLUTION: This pump has a control mode in which a motor part is operated when the pressure detected by the flow sensor 6 when the motor part 3 is stopped is equal to or lower than a predetermined value and a control mode in which the motor part is stopped when the pressure detected by a pressure detection means 5 is equal to or higher than a predetermined value and the flow detected by the flow sensor 6 is equal to or less than the predetermined value. The motor also has a control mode in which when an ON signal is output from the flow sensor despite the fact that the motor part is in a stopped state and the flow is absent, the flow sensor 6 is determined to be defective, and the pump part is stopped when the pressure detected by the pressure detection means 5 is equal to or higher than the predetermined value irrespective of an output signal from the flow sensor 6.
