PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition which, even when used for a hermetic device for carbon dioxide or a fluid containing carbon dioxide, prevents the permeation from the hermetic device and does not cause the lowering of the processability. SOLUTION: The rubber composition is used for a hermetic device for hermetically sealing carbon dioxide or a fluid containing carbon dioxide. The main raw material of the rubber composition is a hydrogenated nitrile rubber.
